Obituary:
Cranston, RI, Cathleen L. Clarke, 76, passed away December 9, 2021, at the Providence Hospital.
She was born June 24, 1945 the daughter of John and Madeline Pike Clarke.
Cathy attended Saco schools and graduated from Thornton Academy.
She then received her undergraduate degree from Boston University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Simmons and later a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Rhode Island.
Cathy worked for Children’s Friend Services as a clinical social worker. She later worked for Kent Hospital in Rhode Island and the Rhode Island Hospital.
She enjoyed reading and volunteered at the Knight Memorial Library.
Cathy love traveling and telling stories of her travels. She also enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
She is predeceased by her brother John Clarke.
Cathy is survived by a sister Christine Clarke of Saco and spouse Ron Blanchette and a niece Diana Beaudoin of Winthrop, MA.
She will be also missed by her many dear friends in Rhode Island , especially Pat and Susan.
