Courtney Lynn Clingensmith, age 30, of Saco passed into heavenly peace in the arms of our Lord on May 10, 2013. Courtney was born May 16, 1982 in Denver, Colorado. In the fall of 1990 her family relocated to Saco, Maine where Courtney attended school and graduated from Thornton Academy in 2000.
Courtney was vivacious and gregarious, always quick-witted and willing to share a grin and a chuckle with everyone. She struggled with personal health difficulties for the last few years, and she has now found joyous relief and perfect peace. She'll be kept in the hearts of her parents, Jim and Sandy Clingensmith of Saco, Maine and brothers Adam of Portland, ME, and Brendon of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by her favorite aunt Marcia Eannetta of Tampa, FL, her grandfather Mr. Laurence Eannetta of Ithaca, NY, and several uncles and cousins. She had a special place in her heart for her best friends Steven Marcotte of Saco, ME, aka "my Steven", and April Robinson of Biddeford, ME, aka "my April".

I am sorry to hear of your loss of such a lovely daughter and sister. I worked with Courtney for several years. She was a dedicated employee, even with her personal health difficulties. I liked her very much. She made me smile.
I know there is no pain more far-reaching and deeper than losing a child. My heart and prayers go out to you at this most difficult time.
Sincerely, Mary Cartier

My deepest sympathies to the Clingensmith family. I was so sad to hear the news of Courtney's passing. I have so many fond memories growing up with her in Saco. We had lots of fun times, and I have to say Courtney was one of the most intelligent, gifted, and funny people I have ever met. A lot of my memories from high school include Courtney, from going to OOB, to an NYSYNC concert, to having fun in English class. We shared a lot of friends and laughs, and I was heartbroken to hear the news. But I know she is in a better place, and I'm sure making others laugh wherever she is. My thoughts go out her family. I hope you all know that a lot of her TA friends are thinking of you all even if we can not all be in Saco for the service.
