Josephine Elizabeth Brann

WATERBORO- Josephine Elizabeth Brann, 86 of No. Waterboro and previously of Old Orchard Beach, beloved mother and wife died peacefully
with her family at her side on Oct. 26, 2013 at the Gorham House Nursing
Home. "Becky" was born on Feb 10, 1927 in Old Town, ME, the youngest
daughter of Earl and Maryanne Goode. Becky was a devoted mother and wife.
She worked occasionally as a nurse’s aide but mostly stayed home with her
children. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed traveling, camping with family,
swimming, dancing, knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening and playing
cribbage with her husband. She belonged to a bridge club and enjoyed playing
cards with family and close friends. Becky lived life to the fullest and had
a vivacious personality. She loved to laugh and loved being surrounded by
family and friends, ready to do anything for them. Becky was a generous,
caring individual, who will be missed by many. She was a member of St
Matthews Catholic Church in Limerick.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Edward Willard Brann Sr. in
2004, her sons Bruce Brann, and Edward Willard Brann Jr. Her brother Earl
Goode, and her grandson Lance Vigneault.

She is survived by her sister Dorothy Marchitto of Florida, her sons, Robert
Smith of Florida, Reginald Brann of IL, Ralph Brann of CA, David Brann of
Waterboro, her daughters Peggy Vigneault of Biddeford, Lisa Bachkovsky of
Greene; twelve grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
