A memorial service will be held Friday 11:00 AM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco Maine.

Major Beverly Smith of The Salvation Army will officiate.

Burial will be at a later date at Forrest Hills Cemetery in Ohio.

Obituary:
Saco, Major Doris Fuller, 86, of Wardwell Gardens was promoted to Glory October 28, 2013 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.

She was born October 28, 2013 in Michigan the daughter of Emmit and Frances Collins.

She attended services as a child in the Dayton Corps. After high school, in 1945, she attended Officer Training College in New York City. She was commissioned in 1946.

Doris served in 6 Corps appointments prior to her marriage to Lt. Donald Fair. They served together in Pittsburgh area until he was Promoted to Glory in 1964.. She served in the Finance Department and later married Retired Major Fuller in 1973. Maj. Fuller was Promoted to Glory in 1982.

She moved to Asbury Park, New Jersey and was the Finance Officer for the Retired Officers Residence until she retired to Old Orchard Beach in 1989.

Doris was a member of The Salvation Army Corps of Old Orchard Beach. She was a founding member and First Financial Officer for the

Altrusa Club of Biddeford Saco .

She will be missed by many Officers and friends. She will be remembered as a “woman of substance”.

She is survived by a son Kenneth Fair of North Providence, RI and a niece Jeen Snell of Tipp City, Ohio.
