Ronald Philip Randall - age: 74

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 11th, at the Dennett, Craig & Pate funeral home, 365 Main St., Saco, from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. Immediately following, the Rev. Courtney Randall of the Cornerstone United Methodist Church will officiate a funeral service, which will conclude with military honors. Burial will be at Goodwins Mills Cemetery.
Saco, Ronald Philip Randall, 74, of Temple Street, passed away Friday at his residence.
He was born in Sanford, September 14, 1937, the son of Philip and Cora Webber Randall. Ronald attended local schools and graduated from Thornton Academy in 1956. He served in the United States Air Force for more than 20 years. After his service, he worked for Sprague as a supervisor until the 1980’s. Following his retirement, he worked at Simplex and the Shaw’s warehouse in Wells. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching local sports and his morning ritual of having breakfast with friends at The Golden Rooster. He was also an avid reader and liked discussing politics.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Randall, and his wife Eileen of Sanford; two daughters, Monica Woodward, and her husband Everett of Sanford, and Laurie Johnson, and her husband Chris of North Waterboro; two brothers, Leon Randall, and his wife Helen of Saco, and David Randall of Parsonfield; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Randall of Saco; and four grandchildren, Jenna, Brady, Kyle and Nikki. Ronald was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers, Alden and Paul.
