A graveside service will be held 1:00PM Saturday December 5, 2015 at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Fairfield Section.

Biddeford , Louis Gomez Jr, formerly of Camp Ellis passed away Sunday November 29, 2015 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. He was born in Biddeford the son of Louis and Gladys Dinsmore Gomez Sr.
He attended Biddeford schools.
He co-owned and operated Lou’s Outboard shop, with his father in Camp Ellis. He serviced Johnson outboard motors for many years and could diagnose the problem before it was out of the trunk.
“Louie” was a familiar sight on the Saco River and was known to have aided boaters in distress in dangerous water conditions.
His hobbies included feather weight boxing, racing stock cars at Beech Ridge Speedway and snowmobiles.
Lou also participated in the State of Maine Delegation of the National Bicentennial wagon and horseback trek to Washington D.C.
He is survived by his long time companion Cecile Webster, 4 daughters Linda Freeland of Saco, Carolyn Rouillard of East Waterboro, Donna Nascimento of East Falmouth, Mass and Lynn Underwood of Saco, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
