A Memorial service at the Hollis Center Church will be scheduled in the spring.
Pastor Ron Sargent will officiate
Burial will follow at Meetinghouse Hill Cemetery.
Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 13 Portland Road Buxton (Bar Mills ) is entrusted with his services.

Obituary:
Limerick, Ernest S. Packard,82, of Old Country Way passed away Wednesday February 5, 2020 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
He was born July 27, 1937 in Lynn, Massachusetts the son of Ralph and Frances Keeling Packard.
He attended local schools in Massachusetts and graduated from Swampscott High.
Ernie worked for many years for Western Electric and then owned and operated Merrimac Tool.
While in Massachusetts, he was a member of the Sons of the Revolution, Saggahew Masonic Lodge AF & AM in Haverhill, MA, Retread Motorcycle Group, the Salisbury Point Railroad club. He also enjoyed photography and RVing up and down the Eastern United States.
Ernie and his wife Hazel moved to Limerick Maine in 2004.
Ernie was a member and usher at the Hollis Center Church and part of the senior citizens " Friendship Group ".
He collected G scale Trains and was a member of The Maine Garden Railway Society serving on the Board of Directors. He helped place a display of trains at the Maine Mall each Christmas.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Hazel Thornhill Packard of Limerick, a daughter Caroline Dennis and husband Robert of Chester, NH, a son Douglas Packard and wife Barbara of Exeter, NH, a brother Robert Packard and wife Diane of Chester, NH. 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
