Obituary:
Topsham, ME: Frederick W. Fenton, 82, of Lewiston Rd passed away Friday September 9, 2022, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
He was born August 22, 1940, in Laconia, NH, the son of Austen and Dorothy Whitney Fenton.
Frederick attended local schools and graduated from Kennett High School in North Conway, NH.
He then graduated from Keene State College.
Frederick taught English at Franklin High School with the majority of his teaching career spent in the Concord Union School District. While there he also coached baseball and football.
For many years he and his wife Maureen, operated and owned Teachers Antiques. They specialized in painted country furniture and Flow Blue and exhibited in shows throughout New England. Frederick was also a Selectman for the Town of Chichester, NH.
Frederick is survived by his wife of 57 years Maureen Fenton of Topsham, ME, a son Patric Fenton of Lebanon, NH and wife Marybeth, a daughter Erin Sookma of Winthrop, ME, and husband Attapol, and 6 grandchildren Samuel, Cooper, Nicholas, Atticus, Zachary and Amiel.
