Obituary:
Old Orchard Beach, LaMont T. Green, 71 of Saco Ave passed away Tuesday November 8, 2022 at his residence. He was born December 29, 1950 in Plainfield, NJ the son of William and Martha Rutherford Green.
Lamont attended The Salvation Army Officer Training School and served, with his wife, in The Salvation Army for over 17 years. While serving, he also worked as a EMT and Phlebotomist. LaMont also attended Culinary Art School of America.
LaMont enjoyed hang gliding, motorcycle riding, photography, playing base guitar, tuba and many other instruments. He also enjoyed gadgets and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Major Beverly Green of Old Orchard Beach, a son William (Bill) Green of Lawrence, MA and his wife Betsy, a daughter Kristina J. Redman (Green) of Dayton and husband Daniel, 10 grandchildren Kaleb, Kiah, Jason, Jacob, Moses, Corrine, Stephanie, Francisco, Justine and Jovanne, and 7 great grandchildren Lucas, Mason, Noah, Madison, Isaac, Mathew and Maverick.
