Old Orchard Beach - Douglas R Gagne, 60 passed away peacefully on November, 23 with his wife, daughter, and a dear friend by his side.
Douglas was born December 20, 1961 to Nancy Murphy Gagne and Raymond "Freeman" Gagne of Litchfield. Doug was the youngest of five children.
He was an outdoorsman; he loved to hunt and fish. Doug had many talents and hobbies, he could build or fix just about anything. Many who knew him will remember him for his fun loving, quirky personality, great sense of humor and loudness.
Doug is predeceased by his parents and his golden retrievers Key and Lady who were his best friends.
Doug is survived by his Wife of over 20 years, Shawn Haley Gagne of Old Orchard Beach; his beloved daughter Kendra Gagne of Litchfield and her spouse Chucky Snyder; his stepchildren - Catherine Petite of Auburn and her children, Kaidence and Soloman; Ronald Jones of Florida and his children Hunter and Kaylin; Erin Jones of Oklahoma and her daughter Arianna; his brothers Daniel and David Gagne of Litchfield; His sister Donna Gagne of Winthrop; His sister Darcy Oakes of Gardiner; many nieces, nephews and great friends.
No funeral will be held. A celebration of life will be planned in his hometown of Litchfield.
