A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday January 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Maximillian Kolbe, Scarborough, Maine.
Spring internment services will be held at Meetinghouse Hill Cemetery in Hollis.
Dennett, Craig & Pate 13 Portland Rd, Bar Mills is entrusted with his services.

Obituary:
Hollis, Alfred L Emmons, 89, of Saco Road passed away Thursday December 29, 2022 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice house. He was born May 29, 1933 in Dover, New Hampshire the son of Louis and Amanda Charette Emmons.
Alfred graduated from Portland High School and later the Portland School of Art.
He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. After his service, he worked as a paper maker at SD Warren for over 42 years.
Alfred was a member of the Portland Surf Casters.
He enjoyed wood carving, painting, bass fishing and was a devoted family man.
Survivors include his wife Colette Emmons of Hollis, 2 daughters Brigitte Emmons-Touchette and spouse Anthony and Dominique Sanchies and spouse Harold and 2 grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a son Patrick Emmons in 1985.

Dear Colette, dear Brigitte, dear Tony,
We think fondly of Al and all of your family today and our thoughts are with you from the other side of the Atlantic. We are grateful to have known Al, his huge laughs, his sense of humor and his caring and interest for other people. We hope to age with the same positive mindset and maintained interest in life.
