Obituary:
Biddeford, Susan E. LeGallee, 81, lifelong resident of Biddeford Pool and lately of Dental Ave, Biddeford passed away at home on Thursday February 9, 2023.
She was born July 25, 1941 in Biddeford the daughter of Helen (Wheeler) and Harry A LeGallee, Jr.
Sue attended Biddeford schools and graduated from Biddeford High school.
She went on to study nursing in Salem, MA.
Sue worked pediatrics at Webber Hospital, SMMC, and later at local nursing homes, before she finished in private duty.
Sue cooked and volunteered at community suppers, and entered her award-winning quilts, crafts and baked goods in county and state fairs. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing, baking and making dolls, and was devoted to her pets.
Susan attended United Baptist Church of Saco and Union Church of Biddeford Pool. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Annette Chapter #184.
She is survived by her nephew William LeGallee and spouse Matt Foust, niece Lynn LeGallee and great niece Briana Lamontagne, and cousins Robert Weitzel, David Weitzel and Caroline (Weitzel) Garner.
