Obituary:
Ocean Park, Barbara L. Freeman, 93, formerly of Ocean Park passed away Tuesday September 5 at the St. Mary’s d”Youville Pavilion in Lewiston.
She was born in Biddeford, May 23, 1930 the daughter of Samuel and Lillian Larrabee Downing.
Barbara graduated from Kennebunk High School in 1948 and later worked in local shoe shops.
She was a homemaker for many years.
Barbara was a member of the Pocahontas Club and Pythian Sisters.
She enjoyed playing bridge and knitting.
She is predeceased by her husband Clayton Freeman.
She is survived by a son David Freeman of Saco and wife Linda and a daughter Lynda Nailor of Lisbon and husband Robert, 6 grandchildren and10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Dear David and Lynda and family,
I met Barbara through membership in First Parish Church Saco and kept in touch with visits to her at Pinewood for many years until she moved to Lewiston. I enjoyed taking her to visit our mutual friend Alma Klotz at the Veteran's Home in Scarborough. I also enjoyed keeping in touch with her faithful caregiver friend Eddie Olsen. May your family be blessed with happy memories and knowing how much you all loved and cared for each other.
